Slurry pipelines. Pipelines rubberized (NEW!)


The rubberized-fabric pipelines, the pressure slurry pipelines, the delivery-suction pipe- lines and the suction pipelines are designed for transporting abrasive sand and gravel mixes, sand of different grades, as well as processed products of ore mining and processing works at grinding, extraction and tail facilities, also for pumping liquids and abrasive materials. These products are used in mining, chemical industry and hydro- mechanization, at hydroelectric power stations and steel plants, in construction of elevated and subsurface structures, in envi- ronmental protection technologies and in gravel-sand mixture extraction.


The design of the rubberized-fabric pipeline incorporates the inner wear-resistant rubber layer, the load-bearing frame and the protective outer rubber layer. To ensure radial (annular) stiffness and stability the pipelines are fitted with reinforcing elements (wire, metal rings), which are the principal load-bearing elements providing crumpling resistance during bending or exposure to vacuum. The pipelines are manufactured with or without flanges (sleeve joints).

These flanges are of stan- dard design or swivel flanges.




Due to their distinctive design with interconnection of all elements the rubberized-fabric pipelines comply with the original specifications throughout their long service life and do not require replacement with time.

The rubberized-fabric pipelines are the only kind of flexible pipelines that can be installed in confined spaces and rough-terrain areas without compromising quality.

The pressure pipelines are used by ore mining and processing works, in hydromechanization, at coal processing and thermal power plants, in metallurgy, cement industry and other industries. They are used to transport slurry and abrasive materials, process water with acids/alkalis and concentration of oil products up to 20 percent.

The suction pipelines are used by ore mining and processing works, in hydromechanization, at coal processing and thermal power plants, in metallurgy, cement industry and other industries. They are also used in suction pump lines to transport abrasive mixtures and slurry. To ensure the annular stiffness and resistance to vacuum effect the suction lines are fitted with reinforcing ele- ments, which take up most of the load and prevent a suction pipe collapse.






The floating slurry pipeline is a rubberized-fabric pipeline with attached floats. The floats are made of a composite material resistant to mechanical, chemical and environmental effects and filled with foam. The maximum manufacturing length of the floating slurry pipeline is 10 meters. The outer surface of floats is orange-colored for safety purposes. By agreement with the customer the slurry pipelines are fitted with the cabling platforms and the light warning system installation platforms.

The number of floats is determined by agree- ment with the customer, with the allowance for the required floatability of a slurry pipeline, depending on the concentration of the transported liquidmedium. No ball joints are required in operation of the flexible pipelines. The absence of ball joints and elasticity of the slurry pipelines make it possible to transport slurry with the elevated con- tent of solid fractions (max. 50 percent).







The rubberized-fabric pipe branches are used as pipeline components to facilitate smooth change of the product flow direction. They are widely used in confined spaces, which do not permit bending the flexible pipelines to a desired angle.





The rubberized-fabric expansion joints are used to join metal pipeline sections. They are used for compensation of installation, temperature and running offsets of pipeline connections, also to reduce vibration and noise in pipelines and pumping systems. The expansion joints are designed to be non-expandable, that is, when the pressure is fed no force is applied to the pipelines being connected. The rubberized-fabric expansion joints offer a triple safety factor in terms of collapse pressure.





Tapered  transitions  designed  for  smooth flow changes during the transition from one pipe diameter on the other. Tapered transition portion excludes the presence of turbulence in the flow.





Is used as an element of the pipeline in areas where it is necessary to split or combine the conveyed medium flows. Tees are made T-shaped, V-shaped, Y-shaped.
