Hydraulic locks with hollow cores are used for overlaping, crimping, cleaning and blockages of drainage (redirect the flow) through its cores for a while off the damaged areas of pipelines with diameter from 100 mm to 1000 mm, with the repair and commissioning of water supply, sewage and heating networks.
The hydraulic lock is an elastic shell reinforced with a high-strength cord, containing a cylindrical, two end parts and a valve for supplying compressed air. In addition, these valves have a hollow core through which the liquid can pass. If necessary, the hole in the core is plugged with a cork and the hydraulic seal is used only to block the pipe.
Inflating the hydraulic lock shell is carried out by supplying it with compressed air from the compressor or cylinder.
Hydraulic locks can be installed through wells or special operating apertures in pipes and work at the temperature of the liquid pumped over on the pipeline, from 0 to 90° С.
For use in the sewer network of petrochemical companies manufactured hydraulic locks in oil-resistant performance.
The design and manufacturing technology of hydraulic locks are patented.
