Rubber- caps are used to shut off water, sewer and storm water pipelines with diameters from 100 to 2800 mm, repair, technical inspection, removal of blockages and leakage control. They can be installed through manholes or special holes for pipes. When you install the pipe plug give a compact form, is lowered into the pipe and filled with compressed air to the working pressure specified in the data sheet. Incrementally the cap tight to the walls of the pipe, securely cover it. After repair of the deflated plug and remove it from the pipeline.
Rubber-caps are made of durable synthetic fabric, rubberised airtight layer of chloroprene, has good resistance to weathering, open flames, abrasion, low temperature, alkalis, acids, oils, and good ozone resistance. Additionally, the plug supplied with special O-rings made of porous rubber for better sealing of the pipeline. Rubber-caps are resistant to acids and alkalis, which is very important when working in the wastewater. Hydrocarbons contained in the effluent without prejudice to the stubs, even if they remain in the sewers for a few days. The plugs can be used in a temperature range from minus 30 °С to plus 50 °С.
