Rubber-cord compensatory inserts (expansion joints)

Rubber-cord compensation inserts are used to compensate for installation, temperature and operating displacements of connected pipelines with a diameter of 40 to 500 mm, as well as to reduce vibration, noise of pipelines and pumping units. They are used to simplify the installation and dismantling of valves, installed instead of valves for the period of their repair, mounted on the suction and pressure lines of pumping units.

The shape of the inserts is designed in such a way that when pressure is applied, they are spaceless, i.e. they do not exert a force on the connected pipelines. All inserts are reinforced with high-strength nylon cord and have a three-fold margin of safety for destructive pressure.

Rubber-cord compensation inserts are used on water supply, Sewerage and heat networks. The sides of the inserts are made sufficiently elastic, which allows the installation of inserts using solid (continuous) flanges.

Compensating inserts are used in technological lines of chemical water treatment shops, due to the fact that the rubbers from which the inserts are made are resistant to chemical reagents and coagulants. Inserts are also used in the energy sector, in the reconstruction and repair of boilers and other facilities, successfully replacing stainless steel pipes. Rubber-cord inserts can be used for electrical isolation of metal pipelines.

At the request of the customer the required modifications of compensation inserts, both on the geometrical sizes, and on properties of rubber can be issued.

The design and manufacturing technology of compensation inserts are patented.

For each nominal diameter of the pipeline, several varieties of pipes are produced, differing in width, which makes it easier to select inserts for specific operating conditions.

Inserts can be made of oil-resistant rubber, capable of working not only in water, but also in petroleum products such as gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel, etc.
