Rubberized-fabric pipelines are designed for transporting abrasive sand and gravel mixes, sand of different grades, as well as processed products of ore mining and processing works at grinding, extraction and tail facilities, also for pumping liquids and abrasive materials.

Design of the slurry pipeline

Due to their distinctive design with interconnection of all elements the rubberized-fabric pipelines comply with the original specifications throughout their long service life and do not require replacement with time.

The fabric, cord and steel reinforcement of load-bearing frame provides durability and strength at high pressure and annular stiffness when exposed to vacuum.

Internal coating of rubber layer provides resistance to abrasion and high flow rate.

The outer coating is protected against aggressive environment and withstands mechanical loads during installation and further operation

The rubberized-fabric pipelines withstand alternating cyclic tension and compression loads

The installation of a rubberized-fabric pipeline serves to significantly reduce the load on the supporting structures.

INSTALLATION

Quick, easy and inexpensive, 50 percent savings on costs compared to similar works using steel pipelines

Can be installed in confined spaces and rough terrain areas without additional resources and materials.

The piping is manufactured in required length and secured with bolts and nuts.

The section length of the rubberized-fabric pipe provides for the long-distance pipe con- struction.

The rubberized metal rings in the pipeline flanges guarantee a safe and tight connection with no additional gaskets.

OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE

Increased resistance to abrasion and wear. Corrosion resistance – maintenance costs are reduced many times, corro- sion protection costs are practi- cally zero.

Functioning in accordance with the specific parameters throughout the service life.

The compensation of wa- ter hammer effects, installa- tion, temperature and running offsets in pipeline connections, reduced vibration and noise in pipelines and pumping systems.

Lower water loss and low slurry flow resistance signifi- cantly improve performance.

Pressure pipelines

Pressure flexible rubber pipelines (slurry pipelines) are applied in dredging to transport slurry and abrasive mixings, as well as mining and processing plants, coal processing plants, thermal power plants, metallurgy, cement industry and other industries.

Suction pipelines

Suction pipelines are used in suction pump lines to transport abrasive mixtures and slurry. To ensure the annular stiffness and resistance to vacuum effect the suction lines are fitted with reinforcing ele- ments, which take up most of the load and prevent a suction pipe collapse.

Rubberized-fabric pipe branches

The rubberized-fabric pipe branches are used as pipeline components to facilitate smooth change of the product flow direction. They are widely used in confined spaces, which do not permit bending the flexible pipelines to a desired angle. Pipe branches are made with a bending angle of 30, 45, 60, 75, 90 degrees.

Rubberized-fabric expansion joints

The rubberized-fabric expansion joints are used to join metal pipeline sections. They are used for compensation of installation, temperature and running offsets of pipeline connections, also to reduce vibration and noise in pipelines and pumping systems. The expansion joints are designed to be non-expandable, that is, when the pressure is fed no force is applied to the pipelines being connected. The rubberized-fabric expansion joints offer a triple safety factor in terms of collapse pressure.

Rubberized tees and transitions taper

Is used as an element of the pipeline in areas where it is necessary to split or combine the conveyed medium flows. Tees are made T-shaped, V-shaped, Y-shaped.

  

Tapered  transitions  designed  for  smooth flow changes during the transition from one pipe diameter on the other. Tapered transition portion excludes the presence of turbulence in the flow.
